'Bhool Bhulaiyaa' is a pyscho thriller: Akshay Kumar
The Priyadarshan -directed movie, Akshay says, is a psycho thriller and is based on the subject which has never been taken up by any director on the screen.
"I mean when we switch on any channel of TV we get to listen lots of stories related to ghosts, witches and supernatural powers. We have grown up listening such stories. My film is an attempt to spread an awareness that there is no existence of ghosts and what most of us believe is our superstition", Akshay says.
"It is not a comedy as some people are guessing it to be after watching the promos on television channels," he says.
"The film is actually a tug of war between the superstition and science and an attempt to educate people about superstition," he says.
"Log babon ke pass jaatey haien, jisko problem hai usko peeta jaata hai (people visit quacks and the one who is suffering is beaten). I think in an educated society such things needs to be stopped," Akshay says.
The film was extensively shot in Rajasthan especially in Jaipur. Rajasthan's picturesque locales have always appealed filmmakers and in our story we need backdrop of Rajasthan.
The film is releasing this Friday, October 12 and also stars Vidya Balan , Shiney Ahuja , Paresh Rawal and Amisha Patel .
About the success of Sajid Khan directed Heyy Babyy which has put the cash counters jingling at the box office, Akshay says, "The reason why people liked this film because there have been any number of 'Maa ki mamta' (mother's love for a child) films. This was a film that has advocated that a child needs mother the most but he also needs a father. I think this clicked with the audiences."
Today, in India every film buff spends a big chunk of his income to watch films. A film which is a combination of drama, comedy and some lighter moments is always a pleasant change for the cinemagoers.
Delhi's Chandani Chowk's boy Akshay still misses his childhood and younger days, but despite his hectic schedules he is now excited to get some kind of revival of his childhood days.
"I am doing a film titled 'Chandani Chowk to China' which is based on my true life story. I am very excited with this project as doing this film actually taking me back to my past to the streets I belonged to, " Akshay says.

Indian singer rocks the UK music chart
Hyderabad-born Shayan Italia's 'Reflection' is fourth on the list, next only to Foo Fighters (The Pretender), Mark Ronson Feat. Amy Winehouse (Valerie) and Kanye West (Stronger), according to the latest Music Week.
The 28-year-old musician held an exclusive live performance for a select gathering at the famous Mint Leaf Restaurant in London last night where Lord Karan Bilimoria described him as a budding music superstar.
"He will be the third greatest Zoroastrian musician after Zuben Mehta and Freddie Mercury," Lord Bilimoria said.
A superb vocalist, Shayan also writes his own songs. Many music experts interpret his album as mixture of light rock, funk, soft jazz, disco, pop and anything in between.
Shayan told a news agency his music "incorporates the three best elements of Indian music into his work - poetic lyrics, simple yet powerful music arrangements and crystal clear vocals."
Asked whether he planned to perform in India, Shayan said he would do so after holding performances in the UK, Europe and Japan in the next two years.
Born and brought up in Hyderabad, the baby-faced musician came to London in 1999 after tragically losing both his parents at a young age.
Shayan with the little savings he had, got on a plane and came to London in an attempt to crack the hardest music market in the world.
Upon entering the UK, Shayan sought loans from various banks and educated himself over two years, attaining two well recognized post graduate degrees in the process - a Bachelor's Degree in Audio Engineering and a Master's Degree in Music Business Management.
During that time, Shayan became the first person in history to auction a portion of his life's earnings in music on Ebay.
He raised 9,000 pounds in seven days. If that wasn't enough, he then went on to raise one million dollars through private investors to fund his debut album. He has even got the biggest major - Universal - on board to distribute the record nationally through the UK.
He has also signed a worldwide digital distribution deal to have the album distributed online in over 25 countries.
Drawing inspiration from real life scenarios, Shayan has effortlessly created a catalogue of over 150 songs since 1998 and his second and third albums have already been written.
He will have the distinction of being the first Zoroastrian to ever release a mainstream music album on international waters since Freddie Mercury did over 25 years ago.

Last Word : Must Have Mascara
Voluminous, mile-long lashes are making a major comeback! It’s time to upgrade your mascara to one of the new volume boosting, brightening or lengthening formulas and flutter to your heart’s content. Your peepers have never had it so good.
The first step to fabulous lashes is the proper curl. Tweezerman’s Deluxe Eyelash Curler provides just that. Position the curler at the base of your lashes, squeeze gently but firmly and hold for a few seconds. Repeat if you so desire.
Once you’ve got your curl on, it’s time to coat your lashes with the mascara of your choice. Get more definition to your lashes with Clinique High Definition Lashes Brush then Comb. The brush-side coats with long-wearing color while the comb-side separates lashes to perfection.
Looking for more volume? Try Too Faced’s Lash Injection. This super-volumizing mascara fattens lashes like no other but without the clumps (thanks in large part to its giant wand). Waterproof and smudge proof, this mascara also nourishes lashes with vitamin E and jojoba.
With shimmer added to almost every cosmetic product on the market, there’s no reason for your lashes to go without.
Really make your eyes pop with color mascara such as Benefit BADgal Blue. The eye-brightening shade of blue makes eyes look whiter and brighter. Plus the deep blue violet shade enhances almost any eye color – blues are bluer, browns more golden, hazels a richer green.
So you’ve tried volume boosting, defining and lengthening mascaras and still want more flutter effect? Try one of Sugar Cosmetics’ Flirty False Lashes seven wink-boosting styles. Simply fit the lashes to your eye and trim excess. Apply a small amount of lash adhesive and place directly on your lashes moving slowly and with a steady hand to ensure lashes go on straight and stay on. When your day is up, gently remove with fingertips. | |||||

IN MY LIFE LYRICS

All my life, though some have changed
Some for ever, not for better
And some have gone, and some remained
All these places had there moments
With lovers and friends that I still can recall
Some are dead and some are living
In my life, I loved them all
But of all these friends and lovers
Still no one, compares with you
And these memories loose their meaning,/p>
When I think of love as something new
No I will never, ever loose affection
For people and things that went before
I'll often stop and think about them
In my life, I loved you more
I know I'll never ever loose affection
For people and things that went before
I'll often stop to think about them
In my life, I loved you more
In my life, I loved you more
